These very nice folks out on the West Coast (Oregon) are a couple of the nicest people with their regular posts about the hummingbird activity on their property.
And, you’ll be amazed by the hummingbird activity there!
So, if you get a chance, say hello! They’ll respond and thank you! They’re pretty good with a camera!
If you’re going to take a picture of a full moon, what would be better than an owl, a creature of the night, highlighting that picture? So, without further ado, owls and full moons!
Now THAT’S what I’m talking about!
What a beautiful creature!
I’ve taken a “leave of absence” to take a little better care of me.
You see, I’m disabled due to injuries suffered in 1977, when I was in the U.S. Marine Corps and a few years ago, those injuries decided to haunt me. I won’t get into the details, but there were a few times that I was close to death. I didn’t die! That just means I’ve been given more time to haunt my friends. What else are they good for anyways, right?
But this past Polar Vortex winter was really tough on me and I was a complete shut-in for most of it and that’s not a good thing. In any case, I’m back to … “normal”, whatever that would be. And, I’m nothing but trouble to those who actually love me. Of course, I love them, too!
So, this is a really great video of the moon, a really nice full moon, rising and people in the distance being the silhouette. So, watch it and enjoy it. It’s about 3 1/2 minutes long and there’s some music with it.
I know it’s in here somewhere!
Don’t worry, I’ll find it!
Feel like sharing?
Snuggling is a great human tradition, as I’m sure we all know.
But, sometimes we do it better than at other times.
So much contentment!
So she’s a little different! So what!
Apparently, animals know it’s a good idea!
And who are we to argue!
They don’t look stressed to me!
Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s Super-Moon!
Is this incredible? I’ve never seen a photo of the moon looking like this!
Is this jetliner orbiting the moon?
I’m half-expecting to see the kids from E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial flying through this moon on their bikes!
And this one reminds me of a Tom Hanks movie, Joe Versus The Volcano!
And when I see something like this, I’m usually awestruck.
You know this guy is on a mission!
Thankfully, there’s a lot of it in nature!
These blue and orange birds and these purple flowers, yet it goes together very well with all that green!
And how exactly did this lizard get the colors of the rainbow?
And this ladybug can’t be hidden too well by the morning dew!
And this is just the softer rainbow hues – because she’s a lady, of course!
When it comes to mixing colors, could we really do better?
So many beautiful things in our world and not enough space to describe it all.
But, I find that some of the most beautiful things are what are inside us all.
When you see something like this, how could your heart not melt!
And when you see something like this, you see the best in us.
And isn’t that a beautiful thing!
In every kind of climate, the beauty that is our world always comes out to amaze us.
Close to a mountain or by the ocean, it doesn’t matter – our earth is beautiful!
And even by the desert, the beauty of our world is never too far away!
I love waterfalls! There’s something just special about them and being close to them.
The unending sound of water rushing over the falls, on the way to the next destination.
It feels like being in paradise in this place.
Since I decided that I wanted to write, I came to the realization that I might need a proofreader.
The search was on and the little guy turned out to be the winner.
Attention to all the little details is a must and this guy makes sure all the T’s are crossed and all the I’s dotted.
Yep, this polar bear cub is adorable, just like the rest of God’s animal creation!
They almost have human traits like love, don’t they?
I’d like to think so!
Yep, he’s cool!
I love animals and they’re just so beautiful it amazes me, like this black panther and this black wolf.
And how about this little Big Guy!
